Staying Ahead of the Threats through Information Superiority and Real-Time Analysis
We go where they go. Our tactical analysts work side by side to support our customers, enabling them to process a wide variety of information collected in the field. This data provides our customers the intelligence support they need to stay a step ahead of adversaries’ decision-making process.
Intelligence support plays a critical role in protecting the warfighter from both known and unknown threats on the battlefield. One of the biggest threats to troops is improvised explosive devices (IEDs).
Our tactical analysts deployed with warfighters process, analyze and produce intelligence to aid soldiers on the ground. The intelligence could range from learning about three combatants building IEDs in their home to discovering a large IED distribution network.
Of course, for an analyst to quickly identify such battlefield threats, they must have a network capable of delivering real-time access to integrated database systems that contain a range of relevant data. With organized access to these systems, an analyst can quickly pull together multiple layers of intelligence, such as geospatial images, human intelligence and signals intelligence to discern if a pattern of activity will be a threat.
Intelligence support services from BAE Systems establish the data networks required to gather intelligence from multiple sources into integrated databases.
Additional Analysis, Targeting & Support capabilities include:
Intelligence Support
- All Source Intelligence — Provides the full range of support across all skill sets in the intelligence field including: SIGINT, HUMINT, ELINT, IMINT, OSINT and MASINT. BAE Systems specializes in the fusion of multi-source data to support a variety of missions.
- Counter IED— Processes, exploits and disseminates analytical products as well as indications and warning information required by military and law enforcement agencies to identify and defeat IED incidents and networks. The C-IED analyst is the key component of the C-IED network. Using reports, documents, images and videos gathered directly from multiple sources, the analyst provides a clear understanding of the enemy IED network and can direct or advise military and law enforcement elements on how to most effectively exploit the vulnerabilities of the IED network. C-IED analytics builds the network to defeat the enemy network.
- Full-Motion Video (FMV) — Assists the government workforce by posting analysts onsite at customer facilities to review imagery, full-motion video and geospatial data sources to support counterterrorism and counter-proliferation efforts.
- Training — The Global Analysis Tradecraft Advancement Center (GTAC) is a program that trains government and private sector analysts on a broad range of analytical and operational tradecraft, some specific offerings include: full motion-video, wide-area persistent surveillance, collection management, sensor operations, cybersecurity, open source, counterintelligence and various regional topics.
