Dr. Patrick T. Biltgen is a senior principal systems engineer for BAE Systems Intelligence & Security. In addition to his work on activity-based intelligence, Biltgen has developed mission-focused analysis tools and processes for capability-based systems engineering and interactive gap analysis. Dr. Biltgen received his bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate degrees in aerospace engineering from Georgia Tech. His graduate work focused on applying agent-based modeling to military simulation and technology forecasting. He also performed research in missile defense systems, gas turbine propulsion, and spacecraft design.
